Meteorites?

Well, here’s a turn-up for the books!

Apparently it seems Le Teilleul (or thereabouts) was hit by a meteorite in 1845, on the 14th of July, no less (or so says wikipedia!)

Now this ‘ere meteorite is made of howardite, so if you’re superman, you don’t need to worry about any nasty green stuff either; you can just come and enjoy the comfortable house, the lake, the new island, fishing, good food, rest….

So, there you have it: the meteorite has already hit here, you don’t have to worry about it… Book now!

Summertime and the pool is ready

Summer is here - warm days, hot afternoons and yes, the pool is open for business! There’s nothing like floating about in that clear blue water sipping a drink. Yes, yes, I suppose you can swim in it too.

For the more energetic swimmers amongst you, there’s always the private lake where you can get a real workout. No chlorine. The occasional labrador may join you for that swim, though!

Armada 2008-Tallships in Rouen

The great gathering of tallships is back, this year in Rouen. From 2nd to 14th July, these gracious sea-faring ships will be in Rouen for the 2008 Armada, which will coincide with the opening of Rouen’s 8th bridge - the largest opening bridge in Europe.

2008 European tractor pulling championship in Bernay

The European Tractor Pulling championship is being run in Bernay (Normandy) on 7th and 8th June 2008. If you’ve seen this spectacular even before, you won’t want to miss it and if you haven’t - come and check it out. Click here for the official site.
